live long and prosper

People are constantly asking me for health advice. So maybe I will place some info here from time to time. The first question asked most is which is more important: diet or exercise. The answer is obvious. Without exercise your body will slowly atrophy but without nutrition you will die quickly. Perhaps you can live thirty days without nourishment. And that’s only if you have water. Without water you might survive seven days under the best conditions. So now you know the total secret to your total health solution: water. That’s right especially because you’re nothing more than a big bag of water with about eight pounds of ingredients thrown in for flavor. So the first step in our quest for better health is to consume much more water. A very bad habit is created when we feel the need to flavor and sweeten our water. The excess refined sugar and food dyes are very bad. You should also refrain from drinking filtered pasteurized juices. Those things have been boiled at 1500 degrees so much of their nutritional value has been destroyed leaving sugar behind. If you must indulge you should at least insure that you consume 100% juice. Some of them are very descent like Welch’s 100% grape juice is very good for you. But if you really like juice you should make it yourself. And if you’re still drinking milk grow up because milk is for babies. Drink more water. If your lips are chapped and dry or if your urine is yellow and strong you need more water. You are dehydrated. Clear urine is a sign of a healthy well hydrated body. Drink more water.
